Why do atheists demand that everyone must accept their own self-definition? Is that any different from demanding others must accept their choice among 87 genders or be labeled as a bigot?

Why do atheists demand that everyone must accept their own self-definition? Is that any different from demanding others must accept their choice among 87 genders or be labeled as a bigot?

Do you want to use your definition of atheist? Okay, I get to use my definition for Christian. A self-aggrandizing child molester who delights in the idea of everyone besides them burning for all eternity, as they themselves go up to a Heaven where they’re forced to suck God’s dick for all of eternity without pause.

So we define the word atheist as we use it.

Well, Christians keep making up strawman definitions of atheism to attack us.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?
